licence verification on new installs?

Sad news about JoomlaShine closing its doors, but I have a question about using your templates and extensions on a new J3.10.1 site until we move over to J4.
The first time we install a template or extension I am asked to log in to my JoomlaShine account to confirm that I have the appropriate licence. Will this continue for the coming year?
