How to use JSN Brand Plugin
*Note: this guideline is applicable to JSN Extensions and JSN Templates Generation 1. The option to edit the branding in JSN Templates Generation 2 will be updated soon.
JSN Brand is a handy JoomlaShine plugin exclusively for customers who purchased JoomlaShine Developer packages. This plugin helps you replace JoomlaShine branding information in the product’s backend quickly and easily. You also can include your content into the Getting started section as well as footer content. It’s very useful for any agency or any freelancer to promote their brands.

Product Installation
Compatibility
JSN Brand is natively compatible with Joomla! 3.x
In the Customer Area, you can choose to download the appropriate installation file for the Joomla! version you are using.
Please notice that:
The JSN Brand plugin only supports:
- JSN Extension Framework version 1.6.3 or newer.
- JSN Template Framework version 3.1.0 or newer.
Installation
After downloading, you should have an extension installation file called plg_jsn_brand _X.X.X_install.zip, where XXX is the extension's version.
This is a standard Joomla! extension installation file which can be installed in Joomla! administration as usual:
- 1 In Joomla! administration, go to menu Extensions -> Extension Manager
- 2 Once you are in the Extension Manager, click the Browse button and select the extension installation file plg_jsn_brand _X.X.X_install.zip. After that, click on the button Upload & Install.
- 3 The installation file will be uploaded to your server and installed in Joomla! automatically.
- 4 Go to menu Extensions -> Plugins, search for JSN Brand and enable it.
Remove branding in JoomlaShine templates
In the plugin system page, go to tab JSN Template Brand. Here you can control all the places which display the branding information about JoomlaShine.
- Show upgrade button: If you don’t want customer to see the upgrade button in the footer, please choose No.
- Show changelog: If you don’t want customers to see the upgrade button, please choose No
- Show thumbnail link: If you don’t want to redirect customer to our website when they click to the template thumbnail at template setting page , please choose No
- Show Copyright: If you don’t want to display copyright in template setting page, please choose No
- Replace footer content: If you want to replace the content in the footer with your information, choose Yes here.
- Footer content: Here you can input the information you want to display in the footer.
- Replace Getting Started content: If you want to replace the content in the tab Getting Started with yours content, choose Yes here.
- Getting Started content: Here you can input the information you want to display in the Getting Started section.
Remove branding in JoomlaShine extensions
In the plugin system page, go to tab JSN Extension Brand. Here you can control all the places, which display the branding information about JoomlaShine in the backend of JSN Extension.
- Show upgrade button: If you don’t want a customer to see the upgrade button in the footer, please choose No.
- Show Help & Feedback: Go to Component → JSN Extension → About, you will see the content about Help & Support under the introduction box. If you don’t want customer to this information, please choose No.
- Show See Other Products: If you don’t want customers to see this button, please choose No
- Show Copyright: If you don’t want to display copyright in About page , please choose No
- Show author: If you don’t want to display the author information in template setting page , please choose No
- Replace Thumbnail: If you want to replace the product thumbnail in the introduction box with yours, choose Yes here.
- Replace footer content: If you want to replace the content in the footer with your information, choose Yes here.
- Footer content: Here you can input the information you want to display in the footer.
